The Ambers travelled to Thurlby tigers looking to improve on the great performances of the last few games and after both teams started brightly it was thurlby who took the lead after a mix up between goalkeeper and defender the ball wasn't cleared properly and ended in the back of the net. This seemed to spur on the ambers and after spells of pressure in the Thurlby half Marshall Young scored a well taken goal to put the scores level. The Ambers then went on to finish the half the strongest but just could not put the ball in the Thurlby net.

From the start of the second half boston looked great going forward and even the mazy runs from man of match Dev Brooks, great slick passing from Aiden Sellars and the determination of the forwards Brett Marshall and sam Olive was not quite enough to break Thurlby down. As the game wore on the Ambers confidence grew and with some great defending from George Holbrook, Mark Walmsley, Declan Butler and George Clayton Thurlby did not look like scoring again. All in all each of the boy's played out of their skins and kept going till the final whistle they should be very proud of the improvement they continue to make each week. WELL DONE LADS KEEP IT UP
